Evidence of My Existence tells of the vicissitude and the self-revelation of veteran photojournalist Jim Lo Scalzo through a visual memoir.  Scalzo has taken over 60 assignments in various different countries all over the world-Bolivia, Peru, India, even the endless abyss of Antarctica.  Scalzo considers himself a wander with a strong lust to "keep moving on."  Thus, he finds his photojournalism career ideal to him.  Scalzo has faced many battles throughout his journeys such as the dangers and hardships of poor communities, racist factions, foreign diseases and bacteria, and witnessed the mind-boggling fall of Saddam Hussein in Iraq.


The video reaches its conclusion and Scalzo mentions of the epiphany which changed the course of his life. If Scalzo cannot leave a mark of significance in the world of Photojournalism, then he would be better off leaving a mark of legendary significance in the life of his new born child.

The message of this video might be the most important message one can take. The mind is a complicated universe with any crossing paths and thoughts, Scalzo followed his preference to wander and travel the edges of the Earth, but in the end, it did not fulfill Scalzo's desire in his life. Scalzo went beyond himself and reached a revelation where he realized his place in life.
